Shani’s Taradale AFC vs Bayleys Palmerston North United
A classic mid-season six pointer played out as Taradale were third on the ladder before kick off with Palmy United 5th, three points back. Both teams have high aspirations for this season and this was a big game for them both. It was Palmy United who were looking good early taking a two goal lead into the break with tardale yet to get on the scoresheet. Taradale built pressure in the second half scoring through Liam Hall from a corner to bring the game back to life. The home sides hopes of gaining some points from the match were ended when Anthony James scored for Palmy in the 83rd minute making the score 1-3 at the time, which would be the final result. Other results meant that Palmy Utd and Taradale sit 4th and 5th respectively on 12 points now (Palmy have a game in hand).
