Havelock were knocked off top spot a week earlier at home and this week were now on the road to Taranaki, looking to get back on track. An early own goal by Havelock got Rangers off to the start they wanted, with the home side doubling the lead in the 25th minute. Vinnie MacKirdy was again on the scoresheet for Havelock before the break. That wasn’t enough for Havelock with a scoreless second half meaning all three points went to New Plymouth Rangers.

YORB Pacific Premiership 

In this weekend's match of the round, Napier City Rovers headed to Port Hill. Rovers had beaten Port Hill Comfortably earlier in the season, but this was a game where both teams were in it for the majority of the game. A Ben Stanley double had Rovers a head by two at the break, but Port Hill would not go down easy. Rovers thought they had made the game safe when they got a third through Ethan Spencer. The game came to life in the last 15 minutes as Port Hill pulled one back, before knocking on the door consistently for the last 10 minutes of the game without reward. In this week's match of the round Western Rangers took on Napier Marist. Marist opened the scoring in the first half with a goal from Jack Graney. The Rangers got one back to equalize before the break thanks to Davis Cameron. The match looked to be ending in a draw until Van Mccourt broke the deadlock giving Rangers the lead 2-1. However, this gave Marist the fight they needed as they got one back to equalize moments after, then a third from Kalde Woods-Pritchard to break the deadlock again and ultimately decide the match as Marist took the win 3-2.
