The high flying Palmerston North United are on the road to face Stop Out at Hutt Park this week. Having started the season with 2 wins they will be looking to keep the strong early season start going against a team who will be desperate to get their first win of the season.

This week saw Shadow Solutions Taradale AFC host the newly promoted Alexia Stoddart Mirimar AFC. Hollie Gee struck first for the home team midway through the first half to give Taradale a 1-0 lead at the break. The second half saw Johanna Nieuwenhuis found the back of the net early in the second half as Taradale took a 2 nil lead. The game was then put out of reach when Caitlyn Turner scored in the final 10 minutes to see Taradale to take the game and the 3 points to start the season.
