It was a blustery Wellington day that greated Tawa AFC and Suchy & Co Realty FC Western. The visitors opened the scoring through Leo Elders after 21 minutes before Tawa brought the scores level through Aaron Scott 10 minutes later. The second half saw more of the same but this time it was the home team who found the lead when Lachlan Hill scored in the 52nd minute. However that lead was short lived as it was all level again 1 minute later when Ben Hutchings scored for FC Western. 2-2 the final result.

The first half saw Palmerston North United take the lead in the 34th minute through Erin Carpenter. It would be a lead they held on to as the teams went into the half time break. The second half saw Palmerston North United reduced to 10 players as Keeper Natalee Mellish was sent off for handling the ball outside of the area. But the home team dug deep to hold on to their 1 goal lead to take a big 1 nil win

In the round 3 catchup game, we had Levin AFC hosting NPBHS 1st XI. Levin AFC claimed a narrow 1–0 victory over NPBHS 1st XI in a closely fought contest. Both teams showed strong organisation and work ethic throughout, with little separating them for much of the match. The decisive moment came in the 63rd minute, when Keegan Chapman put Levin in front. NPBHS responded with urgency, applying pressure in the latter stages, but the Levin defence stood tall to see out the result and secure all three points. A disciplined and determined performance sees Levin AFC continue their pressure on Whanganui Athletic.

In this weeks game of the round we had GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic Reserves hosting Chillmax Takaro AFC Titans. Whanganui Athletic Reserves came out on top in a thrilling 3–2 encounter against Chillmax Takaro AFC Titans, with a dramatic late winner sealing the victory. The hosts took control in the first half and were rewarded just before the break, with Thomas Pearce opening the scoring in first-half stoppage time. Ryan Donaldson doubled the lead in the 55th minute, giving Athletic a comfortable cushion. However, Takaro responded strongly. Aaron Toki pulled one back in the 70th minute, and Paul Dalzell’s 86th-minute equaliser looked to have earned the visitors a share of the points. But in the dying moments, Ronny Visser struck in the 89th minute to restore Athletic’s lead and secure a hard-fought win in a game that swung back and forth. A spirited performance from both sides, but it's Whanganui Athletic Reserves who walk away with all three points.

This week's game of the round we had SUBWAY Massey University FC Good Guys taking on Levin AFC Colts. SUBWAY Massey University FC Good Guys delivered a dominant performance, overpowering Levin AFC Colts with a resounding 13–1 victory in a one-sided affair. The goals came thick and fast, with Stefan Heasman opening the scoring in the 16th minute. Massey then surged ahead with a flurry of first-half goals from Daniel Besenyi, Bailey Cooke, Liam Wells, Alex Kilkelly, and Ryan Noble, taking firm control of the match by halftime. Levin AFC Colts managed to pull one back through Benteti Bauro in the 37th minute, but it was little more than a consolation as Massey continued to pile on the pressure. Liam Wells led the scoring with four goals, while Ryan Noble notched a hat-trick. Cooke added a second late on, with Oliver Douglas also joining the scoresheet. It was a comprehensive display of attacking football from the Good Guys, who were clinical, relentless, and in total command throughout.

PN Marist responded with increased intensity after the restart, and their persistence paid off when Blake Lynch levelled the score in the 74th minute. In this week's game of the round, we had RSM Legends taking on Takaro Awatapu United. An eight-goal thriller unfolded as RSM Legends and Takaro Awatapu United played out an entertaining 4–4 draw, with both sides showing attacking flair and resilience. Takaro Awatapu United raced into a commanding early lead, with goals from Luca McCorkindale (10’), Alex Yeatman (20’), and Benjamin Stead (25’) putting them 3–0 up inside the first half-hour. But RSM Legends began to claw their way back, as Jason Baylis pulled one back in the 35th minute before Samuel Hill added another just before halftime. Hill continued his standout performance in the second half, completing his hat-trick with goals in the 52nd and 69th minutes, turning the game on its head and giving RSM a 4–3 lead. However, the drama wasn’t done. Takaro Awatapu found an equaliser through David McCorkindale in the 56th minute, ensuring the points were shared in a pulsating encounter. Takaro AFC Bench Warmers edged out Manawatu Plunderers FC in a seven-goal thriller, with a late winner sealing a 4–3 victory after a spirited Plunderers comeback. Takaro came flying out of the blocks, with Bradley Gillard completing a stunning first-half hat-trick inside 30 minutes. The Plunderers looked in trouble at the break, trailing 3–0 and struggling to contain Takaro’s sharp attack. But the second half told a different story. Shamus Moffatt led a remarkable resurgence for the hosts, netting three times in quick succession (47’, 57’, 66’) to level the game and swing momentum their way. Just as it seemed the match might end all square, Takaro’s Isaiah Birch struck in the 88th minute to snatch all three points, capping off a dramatic and highly entertaining contest.

Takaro’s Gavin Eades delivered a standout performance, scoring all three goals for his side in the 30th, 40th, and 70th minutes to complete a decisive hat-trick. NP Rangers AFC Women’s 1st's strengthened their position at the top of the table with a composed 3–0 victory over GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic Women. The first half saw both sides battle for control, with little between them in terms of possession or chances. After the break, however, Rangers began to assert their quality and found the breakthrough. Gracey Edgcombe opened the scoring in the 62nd minute, with Zoe Mackenzie doubling the lead shortly after in the 73rd.
