Sam Lack opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, setting the tone early. Eric Kostandini Ziu added a second just minutes later before Stephen Hoyle netted twice to send Rovers into the break with a 4–0 lead.
The pressure continued in the second half, with Ziu adding his second and Hoyle completing a well-earned hat-trick in the 72nd minute.
